Gujarat: Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2022 Postponed

With the rising corona cases, the state government has decided to postpone Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2022. With more than 3300 cases were reported in Gujarat and third wave becoming a real threat many restrictions are being imposed in many districts and cities, including Ahmedabad.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted a comprehensive review of the situation and decided to cancel cancel the Vibrant Summit 2022. The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit has been an immensely important platform for Gujarat ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi was Chief Minister of the state. Industrialists and investors from all over the world are taking part in the summit every year and MOUs between the Government and the Industrialists amounting to lacs of crores are being signed. In view of the increasing number of cases, the Chief Minister has made the sensible announcement to postpone the summit. The announcement mentioned that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always been concerned about the welfare, happiness, security, health and well-being of all. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel thanked the Prime minister for his constant guidance.

The Chief Minister also thanked the business and industry executives for their enthusiasm in participation.. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the delegation and the senior officers who were instrumental in the preparation of the summit and hoped that the state will continue to receive similar response in future as well.

    It would be productive to convert MoUs signed during earlier Investor Summits into functioning projects on the ground, creating employment and exports.
