If Rebel MLAs Return To Mumbai In 24 Hours, Then MVA Will Consider Leaving The Government: Sanjay Raut

| Updated: June 23, 2022 19:17

In an effort to defuse the ongoing political crisis, Maharashtra minister Sanjay Raut has said that the party is ready to reconsider its alliance with the Congress and the NCP when they return to Mumbai in the next 24 hours. “If you are saying that you are not leaving Shiv Sena and if you have any issue with the government, we are ready to come out of it. But, first of all, show courage to come back and place your demands in front of Uddhav Thackeray. If you come back within 24 hours it will be considered,” Raut said.

Meanwhile, in a letter written by Sanjay Shirsat an MLA from Eknath Shinde conveys that few complaints were made about not meeting the CM and not giving opportunity to Shiv Sena leaders to visit Ayodhya. The letter read, “When we could not meet the CM, the people of our ‘real opposition’ – Congress and NCP – used to get a chance to meet him and even paid for work in his constituencies. “

Further, Three more Shiv Sena MLAs have joined Eknath Shinde’s camp in Guwahati, Assam since Wednesday. Shiv Sena MLAs Deepak Kesarkar, Sada Sarvankar and Ashish Jaiswal reached Radisson Blu in Guwahati and were received by Eknath Shinde and other rebel MLAs, on thursday evening. With the addition of these three MLAs, at least 37 Shiv Sena MLAs are favoring Shinde, which is two-thirds of the party’s strength in the legislature.

21 Shiv Sena MLAs in touch in Guwahati: Sanjay Raut

Addressing a press conference, Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut said that the party is in touch with its 21 MLAs in Guwahati. “Let them release pictures or videos showing the number of MLAs they have. But the day he returns to Mumbai, the MLAs will be with Shiv Sena. In future, if a situation of floor test arises in the state assembly, we have enough numbers to win,” Raut said.
