A couple from Narol, Ahmedabad had a harrowing ordeal after they hired IFB company for installing an oven.
According to a police complaint lodged by Dhruvilbhai Soni at Narol police station, the IFB service representative, Abdul Vora from Royal Enterprise, made advances towards his wife and sent her inappropriate messages. Soni said – ‘Abdul began texting my wife at 8.00 am. He said things like ‘You are hot, you should go out with me, I can come to your house when you are alone, let me pick you up …’ to my wife. He even showed up at my house at 11 am, after which I filed a police complaint against him.’
Soni also said that IFB company did not help them when they reported their service man’s behaviour. Even Chroma store, where they bought the oven, did not take their complaint seriously, and the manager blocked his phone number.
