In Gujarat, farmers brought in their yield of winter mangoes to be auctioned in the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market in Porbandar on Monday, surprising traders. The kesar mangoes, which were initially offered at Rs 350 per kg, were eventually auctioned off for Rs 501 per kg. The Kesar mangoes grown in these areas are larger and of higher quality, making them extremely popular.
