The Income Tax Department has undertaken a mega operation on the premises of the Madhav group of Industries in Ahmedabad and Baroda. The group is in the business of real estate and government contracts.
Transactions of the partners, including Ashok Khurana, Vikram Khurana, Ashish Khurana, and Sudhir Khurana are under scanner.
A total of 27 places in Ahmedabad and Vadodara have been raided, as part of the income tax operation.
It is believed that the income-tax authorities are investigating massive transactions to ascertain whether a part of them can be termed a benami or not.
