India-Madagascar To Launch Chamber Of Commerce In Antananarivo

Indian Ambassador to Madagascar Abhay Kumar met Foreign Minister of Madagascar Richard J. Randrimandrato on Monday and presented him External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar’s book ‘India Way.’ They reviewed the progress made in bilateral relations between India and Madagascar.

This week, a chamber of commerce between India and Madagascar will be launched in Antananarivo to promote trade between the two countries.

Since President Ram Nath Kovind visited Madagascar in 2018, the bilateral relationship between India and Madagascar has grown stronger under the initiative of Security and Growth for All in the Region (SAGAR).

The two countries have finalized several MoUs in various fields, including health, education, culture, human resources, environmental protection, customs, and information exchange.
