In Amreli, Gujarat, on Sunday, India received its first mobile In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) machine for animals. Union Minister Purushottam Rupala inaugurated the mobile IVF lab.
The IVF mobile van was “dedicated in a collaborative endeavour of the Government of India and Amar Dairy,” the minister stated. “This is India’s first IVF mobile unit. With the help of this unit, the work of providing IVF technology to the cattle rearers of Amreli has started from today.”
Notably, IVF is a sophisticated set of techniques used to support fertility and child conception. It is an advanced reproductive technique used in animals to multiply better female germplasm more quickly.
