India registered 6155 fresh Covid-19 cases on Saturday, while the number of active cases rose to 31,194, as per the Union Health Ministry data. The total count of Covid-19 in India is 4.47 crore (4,47,51,259).
The data updated at 8 a.m. showed that the death toll rose to 5,30,954 with 11 deaths, including two that Kerala reconciled.
At 31,194, the active cases comprise 0.07 per cent of the total infections.
According to the union health ministry’s website, the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.74 per cent.
The number of people who have recovered from the disease has risen to 4,41,89,111, with a 1.19 per cent case fatality rate.
