India’s finest fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah  celebrates his birthday today. He is the current most reliable bowler when it comes to death bowling. His tight line and accuracy has made him one of the most feared bowlers in the world. While he has steadily scaled new heights and achieved fame, he started it all from a humble background. Today, he has made his position in Indian Team and IPL franchise Mumbai Indians quite strong with his regular excellent performance.

 Interestingly,  Bumrah–born on Dec 6, 1993 shares his birthday with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and batter Shreyas Iyer as the two players have turned 33 and 27 .

Recently, Mumbai Indians have retained him for a whopping amount of 12 crore. In 109 matches for his Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians, he has dismissed 133 batters at an average of 23.16, an economy rate of 7.43. He played a crucial role behind winning as many as five titles in the last nine years.

Since his international debut, Bumrah is the sixth-highest wicket-taker in international cricket. In 146 matches across formats, he has picked 275 wickets at an average and strike rate of 23.01 and 36 respectively including seven five-wicket hauls. With his 100th Test wicket coming in his 24th match, it made Bumrah joint ninth-fastest in the history of the game.
