Daily Flights Now Bridge Mumbai and Ayodhya

IndiGo joins the air travel rush to Ayodhya, the holy city in Uttar Pradesh, by announcing daily flights from Mumbai starting January 15, 2024. Ahmedabad-Ayodhya flights by IndiGo commence on January 11. This follows closely on the heels of their recently launched routes connecting Delhi and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya.

The new Mumbai-Ayodhya route caters to pilgrims, tourists, and business travelers seeking convenient access to the city, now increasingly becoming a major travel destination. The inauguration of the Ayodhya International Airport on December 30 by Prime Minister Modi is expected to further boost its appeal.

IndiGo will be the first airline to operate from the new airport, with their inaugural flight landing on December 30. Commercial operations for the Delhi-Ayodhya route begin on January 6, followed by tri-weekly Ahmedabad-Ayodhya flights on January 11.

Air India Express joins the fray too, making Ayodhya its 45th destination and the third operational sector in Uttar Pradesh. Their inaugural flight from Delhi lands in Ayodhya on December 30, with return flights offered daily.

So, whether you’re seeking spiritual solace, historical exploration, or business opportunities, Ayodhya is now just a flight away, with multiple airlines offering convenient connections from major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad.

This is just the beginning of Ayodhya’s journey as a major air travel hub. With more airlines expected to join the scene, the city is poised to welcome a greater influx of visitors, further solidifying its place as a significant destination on the Indian travel map.
