IndiKarting Ahmedabad is commencing with a fundamental focus on promoting and building motorsport in Gujarat. The purpose-driven facility will qualify in a track length of around 450 meters and will organise national degree of races forthcoming.
The company started its journey in 2015 with the sole purpose of providing motorsport infrastructure to the youth of this country. Over 5000 people have registered till this day. Karting is also young children’s favourite as they start driving in specially built go-karts. There are different categories for the go-kart admirers, such as Cadets (7 to 12 years), Juniors & Seniors.
Present Formula 1 racers have deeper connection and built their careers in Karting. Jehan Daruvala, India’s Formula 1 aspirant, started in a similar track in Mumbai. The project is supervised by motorsport followers, Brij Mody and Mihir Shah. Approximately, 14 karts of different speed and size would be available. From 8 year old to 60 years old, every motorsport admirer would get his/her choice of Kart.
Due to special floodlight system, the facility will be open 7 days a week and the timings are from 5 pm to 1 am. Rayo Racing, India’s biggest and most successful international karting team, has entrusted to open a Rayo Racing Academy in the first facility in Gujarat.
“Gujarat has always shown a lot of interest in motorsport. IndiKarting will soon conduct racing competitions paving the way for Gujaratis to get into mainstream motorsport. The Ahmedabad track will be the 4th venue to have the IndiKarting name & design allows for flexible design layouts,” Rayomand Banajee, 8 time National Champion in Formula cars & Karting said.
