| Updated: July 22, 2022 12:22

Fashion major Valentino of Italy has entered into an agreement with Reliance Brand Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, to open the first Valentino boutique in Delhi. The flagship store of Valentino in Mumbai is also on cards.

One of the most established Italian Haute couture brands Valentino’s foray into India is bound to enhance the customer experience with it’s experimental designs and offer global standards of fashion to the connoisseurs.

Valentino was founded by the legendary Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti. The elegant heritage is ably transported to contemporary times by current Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and CEO Jacopo Venturini.

The stores will stock a wide range of womenswear, menswear, footwear, and accessories of the brand. Valentino operates 212 directly managed boutiques at 144 locations across the world. It has over 1,300 points of sale too.

The Delhi Valentino will open at a 162 sqm boutique in DLF Emporio. The store will house Valentino women’s collections and a curated selection of men’s accessories.

The flagship store in Mumbai on the other hand will carry the whole gamut of Valentino merchandise. A complete range of womenswear, menswear, footwear, and Valentino Garavani accessories of the brand including shoes, bags, small leather goods, eyewear, scarves, ties, and fragrances will be on display at the store.

Jacopo Venturini, CEO of Maison Valentino said, “The upcoming store opening represents a significant step in Valentino’s global strategy, and we are honoured to be part of the country’s growing retail market,”
