Kutch and north Gujarat regions including Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Mehsana and Patan are expected to receive light rainfall on Tuesday, December 28, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its forecast on Sunday.
Apart from this, the other districts of Gujarat are not expected to receive rainfall and will witness almost no change in minimum temperatures for the coming two days. But the next three days after December 28 will see a fall in temperature with north Gujarat regions to witness a fall of two to four degrees Celsius, the IMD stated.
For the past few days, Gujarat is witnessing a little rise in the temperature. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded in Ahmedabad of 13.5 degrees Celsius. The second coldest place was reported to be Naliya with 13.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Deesa at 14.2 degrees Celsius, Keshod at 15.6 and Mahuva at 15.9 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Mahuva with 29.8 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
