Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik’s Salvo Against Sameer Wankhede Continues

| Updated: October 26, 2021 14:50

After two consecutive bail plea denials of Aryan Khan – who was arrested by the Narcotic Control Bureau in connection with the seizure of drugs on a cruise off the Mumbai coast, the 23-year old has a court hearing scheduled today.

The case has started to take a twist with a series of surprising turn of events taking place and new suspects surfacing. The most recent face being the NCB official – Sameer Wankhede.

Maharashtra minister, Nawab Malik has shared an explosive letter sent to him by an unnamed NCB official that lists 26 cases in which Sameer Wankhede along with his team had allegedly planted drugs on people.

This comes a day after he shared a birth certificate, reportedly of Sameer Wankhede stating that his father was one Dawood Wankhede.

“As a responsible citizen I will be forwarding this letter to DG Narcotics requesting him to include this letter in the investigation being conducted on Sameer Wankhede”, Malik’s tweet read.

Malik will be handing over the letter to the agency head requesting the officials to include the letter as part of their investigation being conducted against Wankhede.

He further claimed that Wankhede has been illegally intercepting mobile phones of some people through two people in Mumbai and Thane. Nawab also added that Wankhede had sought the call detail record of his family member from the police.

NCB, however, has denied all the allegations and is to issue a detailed statement regarding it soon.

As per Malik, Wankhede started playing games with the film industry after he was specifically brought to the NCB by the Centre post the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
