Man Who Killed Pal Over Non-Veg Food Held

Laxmansingh Premlalsingh, a Jharkhand resident who was involved in the murder of his friend Umesh Raikwar, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested by the Vatva GIDC police. Raikwar was murdered after he refused to pay Laxmisingh for eating non-vegetarian food.

“On December 27, an unidentified person was found dead near the railway track in Vatva area,” said P G Jadeja, assistant commissioner of Police, J division, on Saturday. The cops had filed an accidental death report and launched an investigation to find the unidentified person. Three teams were formed, and the teams began looking for CCTV footage during the search. They identified Raikwar with two other people in one of the videos.”

Further, He said that they found that the person who had died was Raikwar and the other two were identified as Brijalalsingh Chattisingh and the accused LaxmanSingh. 

Following this, the police went to the Brijalalsingh resident, during an investigation, it was found that  with a resident who revealed that Laxmansingh had killed Raikwar. Laxmansingh had returned to his native Jharkhand. ND Nakum, the Vatva GIDC police inspector, immediately kept the phone under surveillance and discovered that he was at the Kalupur Railway Station.

The a team was sent to Kalupur station and Laxmansingh was arrested and also remanded in police custody for two days
