As many as 162 items among the gifts given to PM Modi received no bids on the second last day of the e-auction.
Items like medalist P.V. Sindhu’s badminton racket priced at ₹80 lakh, a painting of PM Modi with former United States President Donald Trump priced at ₹3.50 lakh, found no takers.
As on Wednesday evening, the auction of 1,348 items found no bidders for many featured items like Olympians’ gear gifted to PM Modi.

Items that were yet to receive any bids included:
- A white-coloured stole signed by the Indian Tokyo 2020 contingent (₹90 lakh)
- Bronze medallist Lovlina Boroghain’s boxing gloves (₹80 lakh)
- Hockey sticks autographed by the men’s and women’s hockey teams (₹80 lakh each)
Among the items yet to receive any bids, which range from ₹5,000 to ₹90 lakh in base price, are many stoles and portraits, including one of Mr. Modi with his mother.
Meanwhile, the javelin used by gold medallist Neeraj Chopra had received two bids, taking its going price from the base of ₹1 crore to ₹1,00,50,000 as on Wednesday evening.
Bidding for a third such auction of gifts given PM Modi was to go on till Thursday evening. As per the Culture Ministry, the proceeds of the auction would go to the Namami Gange Mission.
