Today, when Gujarat votes for the first phase of the Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a grand roadshow – ‘Pushpanjali Yatra’ — in Ahmedabad. He will cover a distance of 38 km with three stopovers, where he will garland the statues of Sardar Patel, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Subhash Chandra Bose.
The Pushpanjali Yatra will begin around 3 pm and the first stopover will be at the Shyamal crossroads where Modi will pay floral tributes at Sardar Patel’s statue around 4 pm.
The next stop is at the feet of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya statue at Anupam Bridge, around 5.15 pm. The final pitstop will be at the RTO Circle where the prime minister will garland the statue of Subhash Chandra Bose around 6.15 pm.
Modi’s roadshow, which is scheduled to begin at Naroda and will end at Chandkheda.
