A video clip where in few Gujaratis are being beaten up reportedly in Turkey has surfaced, raising doubts about the safety of Gujaratis going abroad for the first time for vested interests using agent system.
Sources claimed that petrified group in the video also appear to be llegal immigrants from Gujarat in India. Unconfirmed sources that this group could be wanting enter Canada or America through Turkey.
Illegl emigration from Gujarat is on an all time high and the recent news of a family found frozen to death on Canada -America border Jagdish Patel, his wife Vaisahli, 12 year old Vihangi and three year old Dharmik were found separated from seven others with whon they were reportedly trying to sneak into the American border from the Canada side.. Temperature there was minus 35 degrees and the family of four were frozen to death.
Now this recent video shows a family from Gujarat, talking in Gujarati, They are being beaten up apparently by their agent who says paisa do, paisa ok karo. (give the remaining money) Vibes of India reached out to local police in Gujarat which said they were not aware of the issue. Yet Another Dream Of Going Abroad Squashed, Led To Rs 6.08 Lakh Fraud
After the Gujarati family that froze to death on the US-Canada border; here is yet another instance of a young Gujarati woman who dreamt of working in the United Kingdom and instead, met with online fraud.
This 33-year old woman dreamt of getting a work permit visa in the UK and was cheated of Rs 6.08 lakh. She belongs to Manav Ashram Chokdi of Mehsana city. She gave Rs 6.08 lakh to Deepak Laheri to make her UK dream come true.
In the temptation to go abroad, the young woman transferred the money and became a victim of online fraud. She lodged a complaint at the Mehsana Cyber Crime Police Station against Issam alias Deepak Lahiri. According to the complaint, in December 2021, she had posted a message on a website called Indiacupid.com. Deepak Laheri approached her from an unknown number and asked for money on the pretext of filing a UK work permit visa.
The matter is still under investigation.
