These events will be hosted in 6 cities, including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar.

According to the government’s plan, 14 sports competitions will be held at 8 sites in Ahmedabad, 8 competitions at 3 places in Gandhinagar, 2 at 3 places in Rajkot and 3 competitions at one location in Bhavnagar. Furthermore, 4 sports competitions will be held at 2 locations in Surat.

Ahmedabad is likely to host water sports competitions at Sabarmati Riverfront, and also football and kabaddi competitions. Martial Arts, Kho-Kho, Yogasana and Wrestling competitions may be held at Gandhinagar. Vadodara is likely to host Judo-Malkham, while Surat will host competitions in sports like gymnastics, badminton and beach volleyball.

The government is in talks with 3, 4 and 5 star hotels to arrange the stay for the athletes, their entourage and staff. Players from all over India are expected to participate in the games, and so the state is working to offer the best accommodations possible.
