Over 10 Crore Left Unvaccinated, ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ Campaign To Launch Soon

Earlier today, the Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya conducted a meeting with the health ministers of states and the UTs to discuss the vaccination drive across the country. As per the reports, over 10 crores people are yet to receive the second dose of the vaccination against Covid 19.

He took to Twitter to inform that the he would be meeting the minister. The meeting will focus on the Covid 19 vaccination and emergency Covid package along with some other issues.

Talking to the media, he informed that they will soon be launching “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign to persuade people to take the vaccination. He said that the health workers will go door-to-door to vaccinate the eligible people for both first and second dose of Covid 19 vaccination.

He further said that around 77% of the population has been vaccinated with the first dose. And 32% people have received the second dose. However, there are still more than 10 crores people who are yet to be vaccinated with the second dose. So far, they have identified 48 districts where less than 50% of the eligible population is yet to be fully vaccinated. Special focus will be given to these areas during the Har Ghar Dastak campaign.
