Pack of wolves were captured on camera at Blackbuck National Park in Bhavnagar having fun among themselves. At present, there are approximately 3000 wolves all over India. Out of which, 100 wolves are in Bhavnagar. Wolves play an important role in protecting farmers’ crops.
The current video of the pack of wolves that has gone viral has been captured at Velavadar. This video has been captured by Bhavnagar ACF Mahesh Trivedi on his smartphone. In the viral video, the pack of wolves are seen playing among themselves. ACF Trivedi said that about 60 wolves were living in the Blackbuck National Park at the time.
It is said that the wolf population is a blessing for farmers. It protects farmers’ crops from damage. It protects crops from damage by animals such as nilgai and wild boar. As pigs and nilgai live far away from places where wolves reside. As a result, the crop is protected and the farmers are relieved from the loss. The wolf is a true friend to the farmers of the Bhal area where the population of pigs and nilgai is in plenty.
