Mahendrasinh Vaghela, son of former chief minister Shankarsinh Vaghela, has hinted at rejoining the BJP. On the auspicious occasion ‘Ashadhi bij’ on Friday, he called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah to pay a visit to Vasania Mahadev in Shah’s ancestral hometown.
In 2018, Mahendrasinh joined the BJP wearing a saffron scarf at the hands of Amit Shah, but he resigned from the BJP as his father Shankarsinh was not happy with his decision. After that, there were rumors that BJP would give a ticket to Mahendra Singh in 2019. These new equations have emerged over the past week.
Meanwhile, Haribhai Chaudhary, the leader of the Gandhinagar district and once considered very close to Shankarsinh Vaghela, was also present with him.
