| Updated: January 6, 2023 16:58

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Rajasthan is a leading state in the country providing employment to the youth in private and government sectors. The state government is providing more than 3 lakh government jobs. At the same time, in the private sector too, the policies of the state government have created a conducive environment for investment and employment opportunities are being created on a large scale. He said that according to the data of the Government of India, Rajasthan is second in the country with a GDP growth rate of 11.04 percent.

Mr. Gehlot was addressing the youth on the last day of the mega job fair held at Zonal Railway Training Ground in Udaipur on Thursday. An MoU was signed between Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC).  Companies will now provide employment to the youth in future job fairs and other job fairs in collaboration with the state government. These companies will provide job opportunities to more than 25 thousand youth in the coming years.

At the function,  Gehlot inaugurated RAJSIL  (Rajasthan Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Livelihoods) single window registration system and job platform. This portal is a meaningful initiative for holistic digital profiling of youth. Through this portal, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities will be provided to all the youth of the state. This platform will be available 24X7 for 365 days to search for all types of job opportunities and apply.

Digital ID cards will also be issued through RAJSIL portal through one time registration, from which personal digital profiles will be created. Using this profile, the youth will be able to apply for employment from anywhere and through the portal, the youth will also be able to get information about job opportunities according to their qualifications from time to time. On this occasion, an MoU was signed with Yes Bank for the operation and maintenance of RAJSILPortal.

Along with giving government jobs to lakhs of youth, unemployment allowance of Rs 4000 and Rs 4500 per month is being given to 2 lakh unemployed people. Job fairs are being organised in every district and employment opportunities are being provided to the youth. More than 10 thousand youth have been shortlisted for jobs in Udaipur Job Fair.
