The third Annual Defence Dialogue between India and France took place between Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh and French Minister for Armed Forces Ms Florence Parly in New Delhi.
Both the ministers shared a wide wide range of bilateral, regional, defence and defence industrial cooperation issues that were discussed in the annual meeting.
The Ministers looked into the current military-to-military participation, which has expanded despite pandemic difficulties. They examined ways of expanding defence cooperations in all areas. India and France have as of late finished up their yearly bilateral Army Exercise, Shakti, which focuses on counter-terrorism operations, in France in November 202 on future coordinated efforts and co-creation between the two nations.
During this meet, the Ministers also acknowledged their unions on a few key and safeguard issues. The two Ministers chose to deal with intently on numerous problems during the French Presidency.
Earlier, the French defence minister Ms Florence Parly called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and paid tribute to Indian soldiers at the National War Memorial. She is also expected to meet other Indian dignitaries during her visit.
