The ‘RRR’ Cast Visits the Statue of Unity in Gujarat Ahead of the Film’s Premiere.
With only a few days to the premiere of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, the cast and crew, including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and the director, paid a visit to Gujarat’s Statue of Unity.
With only five days to the release of SS Rajamouli’s epic opus RRR, the team paid a visit to Gujarat’s Statue of Unity. The film’s producers had planned a multi-city tour across the country to promote the highly anticipated feature. Following stops in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Dubai, the film’s pan-India ensemble, which includes director SS Rajamouli and actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan, recently visited the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue of Unity in Baroda.
Surprisingly, the film was the first to tour India’s ancient landmark. The film’s creators published photos of the team from their visit to Baroda, which further added to the fans’ enthusiasm and expectation.

From Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Baroda, Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkatta, and Varanasi to Dubai, the producers have devised a comprehensive promotional strategy in which they would visit the country’s major potential markets for film promotion from March 18th to 22nd. Ram Charan and Jr NTR can be seen making their iconic pose in the photos. Other photographs show the trio posing and sharing their excitement about the event.
Apart from major stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, the film features a star-studded cast. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris will play major roles, while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alia Doody will play supporting characters. PEN Studios’ Jayanti Lal Gada has acquired theatre distribution rights in North India, as well as international electronic rights in all languages. D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments produces the Telugu-language period action drama film. RRR will be released on March 25, 2022.
In the film, Ram Charan will play revolutionary Alluri Sitarama Raju, and Jr NTR will play Komaram Bheem. Meanwhile, in light of the tremendous anticipation for the film, the Andhra Pradesh government recently granted special permission to the film’s producers to raise the film’s ticket prices in the state. This decision is said to have been made when the film’s director and producer, DVV Danayya, met with AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The AP Chief Minister has given matinée theaters permission to raise the film’s ticket price by Rs 75.
