In the ‘Botanical Painting Workshop’, you’ll create a 12″ x 15″ piece of artwork (which you get to take home!), all the while learning to “make your own palette/shade card of colours from nature like flowers, leaves and fruits – like katha, manjistha, rose, mari gold, mehndi, ratan jyoti, et al”. If you know of Indian medical plants that can help which can help ease your joint pain after Chikungunya – which seems to currently on the rise in the city. A plant called Nagod comes to the rescue, and all you need to do is boil about 10-15 leaves and take a bath in tat water every day for about two weeks. Team Tree Walks has been distributing Nagod leaves among friends and in neighbourhoods for a few weeks, and now the team has organised a free distribution of Nagod saplings. If you are one of those curious to know about this medicinal plant, then make it a useful Sunday.
