Teams Of IPL 2022 That Left India Divided And United At The Same Time

| Updated: June 6, 2022 20:40

The IPL is the most splendid T20 league of all time. IPL 2022 was full of ups and downs with two new teams: Gujarat Titans, the ₹5625 crores CVC owned team, and Lucknow SuperGiants, the ₹7090 crores Sanjeev Goenka team.

Cricket is a religion in India. Even though it has its roots in England, it grew in India. I believe that the most thrilling and enthusiastic format o Cricket is T20. The T20 format has given a rebirth to cricket.

The IPL 2022 was back with ten teams. Everyone was shocked as the Tata Group replaced Vivo as a title sponsor. All the teams retained their star players during the auction. While Lucknow took KL Rahul as their captain, the Titans took out Hardik Pandya as a rabbit out of the hat. KKR found their new captain, CSK found the MSD successor, and MI filled foreign slots. We saw RCB in search of a hit-the-deck pace bowler.

According to me, here are the TOP Three teams of the IPL 2022.

Gujarat Titans

The highly underrated team with an arduous bowling attack, a weak middle order, and an inexperienced Captain Hardik Pandya, made it to the finals like a boss. The team’s unity, Rashid Khan’s bowling, and Pandya’s sincerity led the team to victory.

Lucknow SuperGiants

The most sought franchise of the auction had all slots covered from proper batsmen, all-rounders, bowlers to a strong lower middle order. The team already retained Marcus Stoinis, KL Rahul, and Ravi Bishnoi. However, they finished in 3rd position.

Rajasthan Royals

The finalists had a roller-coaster season. But, their strong bowling line-up and Josh Butler’s grace helped them reach the finals. But, a lack of an all-rounder made the difference against the GT in the finals.

In the end, the defending champions CSK (Chennai Super Kings) could not defend their title but finished second last in the points table. Overall we expect another thrilling IPL season in 2023.
