Tejashwi Yadav, son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Thursday tied the knot with school-time flame, Rachel Iris. Rachel hails from Haryana but has been living in New Delhi.
Tejashwi, 32, and Rachel are said to have first at Delhi Public School (DPS) in New Delhi and have been close friends since then. Rachel has earlier worked as an air hostess for a while.
After an elaborate engagement ceremony in Bihar style in presence of a small gathering of family friends from Yadav and Iris’ sides, a small reception has been organised on Thursday evening for the newly-weds at the Sainik Farms in Delhi.
Sources said the entire family was in Delhi for the wedding but his elder Tej Pratap Yadav could not make it in time as he got stuck in heavy traffic.
