Track-Laying Work To Impact 17 Trains To Saurashtra Till January 16

A total of 17 trains heading to Saurashtra will be affected between January 4 and 16 with one pair of trains being cancelled, four being short-terminated, one rescheduled and six expected to be running late by 20 to 150 minutes due to track-laying work between Surendranagar and Rajkot. 

The work is underway between the Vagadiya-Than-Lakhamanchi-Daladi sections in Rajkot Division of Western Railway.

Cancelled Trains:

22959 Vadodara-Jamnagar Intercity Express between January 5 and 15 and its return train 22960 stand cancelled between January 6 and 16.

Short Terminated Trains:

The 19209 Bhavnagar-Okha Express will run only till Surendranagar from January 4-14 and its return train 19210 will run only from Surendranagar to Bhavnagar between January 5 and 15.

The 12267 Mumbai Central-Hapa Duronto Express will run only till Surendranagar between January 4 and 14. Its return train 12268 will depart from Surendranagar, instead of Hapa between January 5 and 15.

The 19119 Ahmedabad-Veraval Intercity Express will only run till Surendranagar between January 5 and 15. Its return train 19120 will originate from Surendranagar and reach Ahmedabad on the same day, forcing passengers to reconsider their way through Saurashtra for these 10 days.

The 22923 Bandra-Jamnagar Humsafar Express will stop at Surendranagar on January 5, 7, 9, 12 and 14. Its return train 22924 will run from Surendranagar to Bandra on January 6, 8, 10, 13 and 15.

Rescheduled Trains: 

The 22969 Okha-Varanasi Express will start 2.5 hours late at 4:35 pm instead of 2:05 pm on January 5 and January 12.

Regulated Trains: 

On Wednesdays, the 19015 Mumbai Central-Porbandar Saurashtra Express and 22908 Hapa-Madgao Express will be delayed by 20 minutes. On Thursdays, 19015 Mumbai Central-Porbandar Saurashtra Express will be delayed by 20 minutes. On Fridays, 15045 Gorakhpur-Okha Express will be delayed by 1 hour 45 minutes. Trains 19015 Mumbai Central-Porbandar Saurashtra Express and 19578 Jamnagar-Tirunelvelli Express will be delayed by 20 minutes.
