US Consulate Offers Passport Services In Ahmedabad

| Updated: May 6, 2023 11:23

U.S. Consulate General Mumbai has announced that its consular team will be visiting Ahmedabad on June 13-14 to process applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA), as well as to notarize documents for use in the United States.

It is important to note that a valid passport with at least six months of validity is required to enter most countries, so applicants are encouraged to apply for a replacement passport well in advance.

To ensure the efficient delivery of services, appointments will be offered by appointment only. Preference will be given to minor passport applications, first-time adult passport renewals, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notarial services, as these require the applicant to appear in person.

To schedule an in-person appointment, interested individuals should send an email to MumbaiACSRSVP@state.gov, providing their full name and phone number. Appointments will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once confirmed, applicants will receive a separate email containing the date and time of their appointment, along with instructions on how to prepare their application packet.

Before attending the appointment, applicants are advised to review the information provided and ensure that they meet all the necessary requirements. Any questions or concerns can be directed to MumbaiACSRSVP@state.gov.
