| Updated: January 22, 2023 15:52

The Vande Bharat Express connecting Gandhinagar and Mumbai will also halt at Borivali Station in Mumbai. Timings at a few stations will be revised due to the additional halt at Borivali. It will also run six days a week except on Wednesday. Minister of State for Railways Darshana Jardosh took to Twitter to announce this.

The Western railways tweeted the revised schedule which states, “For the convenience of passengers, an additional stoppage is being provided at Borivali station to Train No. 20901/02 Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Exp wef. 23.01.2023. Timings at a few stations will be revised due to the additional halt at Borivali.”

The tweet further reads, “Train No. 20901 will depart from Mumbai Central at 06.00 hrs instead of 06.10 hrs & at Vapi the train will arrive/depart at 07.56/07.58 hrs instead of 08.00/08.02 hrs. There will be no change in the timings of arrival/departure at other stations.”

“Train No. 20902” will arrive at Mumbai Central at 20.25 hrs instead of 20.15 hrs when returning from Ahmedabad. The Minister of State for Railways Darshana Jardosh made this decision public on January 15.

The train will have amenities like reclining seats, personal reading lights, mobile charging ports, attendant call buttons, bio-toilets, automatic entry and exit doors, CCTV cameras, sliding doors, and attendant call buttons.

Executive chair cars will cost Rs 2,505 to travel from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, while chair cars would cost Rs 1,385. It is a semi-high-speed with an autonomous engine train. There isn’t a separate engine in it. It boasts automatic doors, air-conditioned chair coaches, and a rotating chair with a 180-degree range of motion.
