Vibrant Gujarat: 16 More MOUs Signed In Pre-Event Run-up

In the fifth pre-Vibrant event today leading up to the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, 16 MOUs were signed, bringing the total to 96 MOUs.

The Summit is scheduled for January 10-12, 2022, in Gandhinagar.

In the pre-Vibrant event today, Revenue Minister Rajendra Trivedi and Minister of State for Industry Jagdish Vishwakarma and Additional Chief Secretary of Industry, Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta oversaw the signing of 16 MOUs, including waste-to-energy plants, waste-to-oil plants and installation of patented equipment for controlling air pollution.

The MOU for the construction of a hotel by Taj Hotels at the Statue of Unity Kevadia, a world tourist destination, was also finalized today. This project will create massive employment opportunities for the tribal youth of Vanbandhu area.

Also on the agenda was the MOU on a 70-megawatt hybrid renewable energy park, a disinfectant formulation plant, specialty chemicals as well as radar equipment for manufacturing thermal cameras as well as various defence equipment.
