IAS officer Vikrant Pandey, resident commissioner of Gujarat in New Delhi, has be appointed secretary to the chief minister of Gujarat.
Avantika Singh Aulakh, secretary in the CMO, has been redesignated as additional principal secetary to the chief minister.
The transfer orders were issued by the Gujarat Government on Tuesday.
Pandey, the 2005-batch IAS officer had been posted at the inter-state council secretariat, which functions under the Union ministry of home affairs, since 2019.
In Dec 2024, the 2005-batch IAS officer was appointed resident commissioner of Gujarat in New Delhi after he was relieved by the Union government from the central deputation stint.
Avantika Singh Aulakh, a 2003-batch IAS officer, has been working in the CMO since Sep 2021. She was appointed secretary in the CMO within a few days of Bhupendra Patel being sworn in as chief minister for the first time in Sep 2021.
