US President Donald Trump, addressing reporters, had said, “For the first time in history, we are locating and loading illegal aliens into military aircraft and flying them back to the places from which they came.”
According to a report, approximately 725,000 illegal immigrants from India reside in the US, making India the third-largest country of origin for unauthorised immigrants, behind Mexico and El Salvador.
Many individuals, primarily from Punjab and Gujarat, entered the US through the “donkey route” or other illegal methods, spending huge amounts of money to reach the country.
