Bharatiya Janata Party appears to have set its focus on the upcoming round of elections in Gujarat, with PM Narendra Modi scheduled to undertake a large roadshow on Friday in Ahmedabad.
The Gujarat Assembly will go to polls in December of this year as the term of the Government comes to end in January. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has set the ball rolling with many visits of top leaders planned in the state.
This is the first time after the pandemic that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is traveling to his home state. PM Modi will keep a roadshow from SVP Airport to BJP headquarter Kamalam. The state government and Gujarat BJP has made preparations for the rally as more than four lakh people are predicted to attend the rally. The most anticipated roadshow will have MLAs, MPs, and state workplace bearers of the party. The PM will hold an assembly with office bearers of the celebration and will have lunch at Kamalam. He will then visit the Raj Bhavan from where he will visit GMDC ground and address Panchayat Mahasammelan.
PM Modi tweeted about his Gujarat schedule just a while ago. He said, “I will attend various programmes today and tomorrow. At 4 PM today, will address a Panchayat Mahasammelan, where several representatives from Panchayati Raj will attend.
