Yashaswi Group Promotes Apprenticeship On Youth Skill Day

Yashaswi Group organised an apprenticeship awareness programme with an interactive session on ‘Need for flexible manpower’ on World Youth Skill Day at the Taj Skyline, Ahmedabad, on July 15th.

In the presence of PN Jumle, the Director of Apprenticeship Training, JP Meena, Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Gujarat, and KV Bhalodia, GAS Additional Director of Employment and Training, Government of Gujarat, the event took place. Further, Ashish Gakrey, founder of HR Shapers, shared his experience and explained how it benefits young startups and businesses.

Yashaswi Group is a 38-year-old organisation operating in Human Resources across diverse industrial sectors. They have also signed an MoU with the Director General of Training, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The MoU is to implement employment potential courses for specific needs of industries through Flexi MoUs.

Yashaswui Groups offers apprenticeship: a training course in any industry or establishment. It also consists of skills sessions and practical at-the-job training for an actual workspace. The group has affiliations with various sector skills councils.

Moreover, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds over and above the requirement under the apprentice’s act. The All India Council of Technical Education appointed the Yashaswi as a NEEM agent to implement its National Employability Enhancement Scheme across India. Currently, the scheme is prevalent and active in 23 states.

Furthermore, around 52,000 trainees are in the ‘getting on-the-job’ training phase in 650 industries. Yashaswi Groups have implemented CSR programmes for organisations such as BHEL, ONGC, GAIL, Cummins, Huf India, Tata Power, TISS, and Aspires. They anchor various fields of skill development, women empowerment, and employability.

The Nation Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) have made the Yashaswi group their training partner.
