Managing Director of India’s topmost dairy cooperative GCMIF or The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd, got into an accident in a town near Anand, on Wednesday. Thankfully, he escaped the accident with a few scrapes and now, his condition is under control, shared the police.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police BD Jadeja, the vehicle in which Sodhi was traveling, turned completely after hitting a divider on Anand-Bakrol road at around 9 pm.
He revealed that due to circumstances and reasons unknown, the driver lost his control over the vehicle which resulted in the accident. Both Sodhi and the driver were taken to a nearby hospital by the locals, where it was seen that neither of them underwent major injuries.
Sodhi has been Amul’s Managing Director since 2010.
