5th Edition Of UNM Foundation’s Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project Concludes, Search For New Talents Starts For 2024 Edition

An unprecedented 1,69,794 art lovers enjoyed various art forms as the 5th edition of the fortnight long arts and culture showcase of Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project of Torrent Group’s UNM Foundation, came to an end.

The 6th edition of Abhivyakti in 2024, will commence in the month of November. With this, the search of the hidden jewels in the genre of unique art forms on a national level has begun.

The project witnessed art lovers of all age groups enjoying some of the intriguing, thought provoking and captivating performances, concept-based installations and various workshops organised during the showcase. The new perspectives depicted through them, created an impact on the audiences and increased their appetite for more alluring art forms.

Chairperson of Torrent Group’s UNM Foundation Sapna Mehta said, “Torrent Group has always been committed to the cause of social service and has repeatedly channelised a part of its resources and activities, such that it positively impacts society. This year the Abhivykati got an unprecedented response. As Abhivyakti gets more and more popular year after year, it promises to identify and bring forth to the audiences new innovative creations and artist from across India.”

Abhivyakti helps each artist to transform his/her ideas into becoming works of compelling art. The stage of Abhivyakti is committed to be a catalyst to encourage and develop regional as well as national talents in the field of arts.

Abhivyakti endeavours to contribute in making art a meaningful part of public life and give audiences new ways of seeing the world. It strives to inspire art, ideas and conversations that are meaningful to artists and audiences alike.

Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project is an endeavor of UNM Foundation of Mehta Family of the Torrent Group, which envisions making art an integral part of the social fabric, by enabling access for audiences without constraint of location, thresholds (physical and individual) and social or economic strata by free entry.

Towards such a vision, the mission is to identify and support budding talent and then provide the appropriate platform for these artists of all genre to present their craft to the city and its populace.

Abhivyakti encompasses many myriad art forms ranging from dance, music, painting, photography, installations and theatre. Abhivyakti aims at bringing international quality art to the people, absolutely free.
