Mumbai, India – December 15, 2023 – Indian TV actress Vaishnavi Dhanraj has alleged that she was the victim of domestic violence by her family members. Dhanraj, who is known for her roles in popular shows such as CID, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, and Bepannaah, posted a video on social media on December 15 in which she showed her injuries and appealed for help.

In the video, Dhanraj said that she was beaten up by her family members. She said that she was badly injured and needed help. She also appealed to the media, news channels, and people from the industry to help her.

Dhanraj has previously spoken out about domestic violence. She was married to actor Nitin Sherawat in 2016, but the couple divorced in 2018. In an interview with SpotboyE, Dhanraj said that she was a victim of domestic violence during her marriage. She said that her husband beat her so badly that she had to run away from home.
