70,000 Plus Appointment Letters Issued By Minister Mandaviya At Rozgar Mela

| Updated: July 24, 2023 7:59 pm

Merit based education promoted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was changing the scenario in a country where more and more youth were going in for higher education, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said here on Saturday.

He was distributing 70,000 plus employment letters in Ahmedabad.  The occasion was the seventh Rozgar Mela. Minister Mansukhbhai Mandaviya said that the Rozgar Melas had become an occasion to celebrate because more and more youth in the country were provided career opportunities. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers also shared his inspiring journey from a farmer’s background to pursuing higher education.

Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said in an encouraging message to candidates, he urged them to adopt the motto of “Nation first.” Dr. Mandaviya emphasised the importance of utilising their rights to contribute to the development of the country and to refrain from any misuse of power.

The occasion was graced by Mayor of Ahmedabad Kirit Parmar, MLA Hasmukh Patel and other income tax officers from Gujarat.

This occasion simultaneously took place at 44 locations across the nation. Prime Minister Modi also addressed the newly appointed individuals through video conferencing.

The PM expressed his delight at providing the opportunity to work as government employees during the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ when the country is progressing on the path of development. He emphasised the significance of the next 25 years for India, with experts predicting that the nation will be among the world’s top three economies, leading to increased employment opportunities and per capita income.

PM Modi also criticised the previous government, highlighting the massive destruction in the banking sector during their rule. He contrasted the present robust state of India’s banking sector with the situation nine years ago, when phone banking was limited and exclusive to a privileged few who received large loans that were never repaid, making it one of the biggest scams in the history of the previous government.

The recipients of the appointment letters will be inducted in various central government departments and state governments/UTs, including Revenue, Financial Services, Posts, School Education, Higher Education, Defence, Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Water Resources, Personnel & Training, and Home Affairs.
