Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was spotted in a fresh style with a trimmed beard after donning a flowing salt-and-pepper beard throughout the recently concluded Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Gandhi arrived in London on Tuesday to commence a week-long visit to the United Kingdom. At his alma mater Cambridge University, he will deliver a lecture on “Learning to listen in the 21st century.”
He will also engage with students in the business management program at the university.
Congressmen began speculating about, whether Gandhi would keep sporting the old lengthy beard look or trim. Before his trip to the United Kingdom, several in his party questioned if he would trim his beard.
In contrast, the BJP compared him to the late Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussain, in terms of appearance.
