An old video of Siya Goyal, the prime accused in the murder of her fiancé Ketan Agarwal, has resurfaced online, adding a new dimension to the high-profile Pune murder case that has drawn nationwide attention. The viral clip, recorded in December 2025, shows Siya at a nightclub holding what appears to be a beer bottle while speaking on the phone in an agitated manner.
During the call, she is allegedly heard using abusive language and saying, “First he cheats on me, then he calls me.” The authenticity of the video has not been independently verified, but it has sparked widespread discussion on social media as police continue their investigation into Ketan Agarwal’s death.
Viral Videos Draw Fresh Attention
Apart from the pub video, several photographs and videos featuring Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary have also resurfaced online.
In one of the clips, the two are seen watching a cricket league match together before the alleged murder, prompting renewed public interest in their relationship and its possible connection to the case. These visuals have gone viral while investigators continue to examine the events leading up to Ketan Agarwal’s death.
Murder at Lohagad Fort
The case revolves around the death of Ketan Agarwal, a Pune-based realtor who was allegedly pushed off a cliff at Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18.
Ketan and Siya were engaged and were scheduled to get married in November 2026. According to the police investigation, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary allegedly conspired to murder Ketan. Both were arrested following the incident and have been remanded to police custody until July 3, with investigators continuing to probe multiple aspects of the case.
Siya’s Father Denies Knowledge of Relationship
Amid the ongoing investigation, Siya’s father, Praveen Goyal, broke his silence after nearly 12 hours of questioning by Pune Police. Speaking to India Today TV, he said he had no knowledge of his daughter’s alleged relationship with Chetan Chaudhary and insisted he would have intervened had he been aware.
“I have absolutely no information about this case. Had I known anything, I would have taken some action. I would have spoken to the concerned person and perhaps reconsidered the relationship if such information had come to me. But not even one percent of such a thing ever came to my notice,” he said.
Families Had Matched Horoscopes Before Engagement
Praveen Goyal also revealed that the marriage between Siya and Ketan had been arranged after matching their horoscopes. According to him, Ketan’s family had requested Siya’s birth chart before the engagement and later informed them that 27-28 gunas had matched.
“The other side had asked for Siya’s birth chart, so I provided it. Later, they informed me that 27-28 qualities (gunas) matched and that they approved of the match,” he said.
Under the Hindu Ashtakoot horoscope matching system, compatibility scores between 26 and 32 out of 36 are generally considered favourable for marriage.
Denies Reports of Another Marriage Alliance
Praveen Goyal also rejected media reports suggesting that the two families had discussed another marriage alliance involving his son and Ketan Agarwal’s sister.
Calling the reports completely false, he said: “No, absolutely not. Nothing of that sort exists in our family. There is no such custom or practice.”
Clarification on Lawyer Ashutosh Srivastava
Responding to allegations involving lawyer Ashutosh Srivastava, Praveen Goyal denied that he or any member of his family had ever hired or formally engaged the advocate. He stated that while his daughter may have signed certain documents presented to her, the family had never appointed the lawyer.
“My daughter may have signed some documents that were presented to her, but beyond that, we never hired him,” he said.
Investigation Continues
The Pune Police investigation remains ongoing as officers examine digital evidence, witness statements, and the circumstances surrounding Ketan Agarwal’s death.
With new videos and photographs surfacing online and fresh statements emerging from family members, the case continues to attract significant public attention. Authorities have not indicated whether the viral videos will form part of the official investigation, and the allegations against the accused are yet to be tested in court.
