Finally, Laal Singh Chaddha made his appearance at the IPL. The trailer was dropped Sunday night and the film, reportedly took 14 years to be canned. It is an adaptation of the 1994 Tom Hanks-Oscar winner Forrest Gump.
However, fans of the original Tom Hanks starrer seemed rather unimpressed by the first trailer and even took to Twitter to issue an advance apology to the Hollywood star, lest he sees the clip or the film. The actor has been massively trolled since morning.

“Dear @tomhanks we Indians apologize for this cheap copy,” read a tweet that also had a couple of images of Aamir smiling from ear to ear.
“I am praying that Tom Hanks doesn’t get to watch Laal Singh Chaddha’s trailer,” said another.
While some fans issued apologies to the Hollywood star, another wrote, “I think Aamir Khan should apologize to Tom Hanks. Period.”
