A plane crash has been reported near Ahmedabad International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, more than 200 passengers were on board on Ahmedabad-London Air India flight AI 171. The accident is reported to have taken place during take off.
Emergency services have been pressed into service and all roads leading to the accident site have been blocked.
Injured are being rushed to Ahmedabad’s Civil Hospital.
