Amit Mishra Hits Back At Shahid Afridi On His Yasin Malik Tweet

| Updated: May 26, 2022 09:04

Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi on Wednesday took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter and criticized India after the judgment of Yasin Malik’s 2017 terror funding case. To his criticism, Indian spinner Amit Mishra went on to the Twitter field and clean bowled Shahid Afridi.

After the Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik was convicted and awarded a life sentence in the terror funding case on Wednesday. Soon after the judgment, several Pakistani leaders came out to show solidarity with Malik and condemned the sentence by the Delhi court.

Meanwhile, the former cricketer of Pakistan, Shahid Afridi too came out and criticized the judgment, saying it to be an attempt to silence the voice against India’s human rights abuses. But in no time, he was given a befitting reply by the Indian spinner, Amit Mishra on Twitter.

“India’s continued attempts to silence critical voices against its blatant human right abuses are futile. Fabricated charges against Yasin Malik will not put a hold to Kashmir’s struggle to freedom. Urging the UN to take notice of unfair & illegal trails against Kashmir leaders,” Shahid Afridi had tweeted alongside a photo of him with Pakistani flags.

Amit Mishra took to Twitter and hit him back, saying that everything is not as misleading as his (Shahid Afridi’s) birthdate. “Dear @safridiofficial he himself has pleaded guilty in court on the record. Not everything is misleading like your birthdate,” Amit Mishra tweeted.
