In order to assess the condition in places impacted by cyclone Biparjoy, Gujarat’s Kutch and Jakhau port will be visited by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday, according to officials. Additionally, he will meet with senior officers and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
According to a home ministry official, Amit Shah would travel to Kutch to assess the situation in the cyclone-affected areas. Shah would visit Jakhau port in Kutch and Mandvi after first doing an aerial reconnaissance of the afflicted areas.
He will also meet folks and go to homes that are shelters. Later, the official added, he will also go to Bhuj’s Swami Narayan Temple to check on the distribution of food and other supplies to those impacted.
