Cattle Menace in Vadodara On The Rise Once Again

Vadodara city has recently reported many cases of cattle menace.

On Thursday night, a 55 year old security guard fractured his hand after being hit by a cow in Nizampura area of the city. Muljibhai Galabhai Christi was on his way home after work when a cow rushed towards him and hit him. He was injured and was taken to hospital where it was found that the he had a fracture in his hand.The increase in attacks by stray animals has provoked not just Christi who demanded compensation but also other concerned residents who have demanded strict action to tackle with the menace.  During a conference in Vadodara, Gujarat BJP President C.R. Patil mentioned that he has suggested to the mayor to initiate a drive to impound stray cattle.

Mayor Keyur Rokadia has instructed his team to start an aggressive drive against the cattle menace.
