In Pandesara, a child’s body of one and a half years old was discovered. The murder case came to light when the police performed a post-mortem on the deceased person. During the investigation, it got discovered that the one-and-a-half-year-old toddler was brutally murdered by her stepmother. Mamata Arun Bhola has been taken into custody by the Pandesara police.
In 2013, Arun Bhola, the resident of Pandesara Hariomnagar and Mamata, got married. Arun and Mamata are currently living in Odisha with their 8-year-old son. Arun Bhola arrived in Surat in 2016 along with his brother-in-law and wife, who were living in the village with their little boy.
While living with her brother-in-law in Surat, Arun had a boy who was one and a half years old and a daughter who was three and a half years old. The sister-in-law passed away from an illness three months ago. For performing the ceremony, Arun took both the kids and travelled to his hometown. Arun took his wife with him to his hometown so she could take care of the two kids. After eating, the toddler used to go to the bathroom right away. So, the stepmother had to do the cleaning. Due to many visits to the bathroom, the stepmother was not providing the child with good care. As a result, there was a fight with the husband. On the 13th night, the stepmother got frustrated and killed the one-year-old boy by banging his head against the wall. Then, the infant was placed to sleep.
When the woman’s husband arrived and tried to wake the infant, but it was still asleep, the husband and nephew buried the child in the open ground. The wife informed the husband that she had to use the restroom frequently. So she gave him a good sleep. After the infant passed away, the woman’s husband and nephew proceeded to a nearby open field to bury him. The toddler was dressed and was buried by excavating a trench and filling it with salt. The police were notified later on the 14th since the child’s body was emerging due to rain.
