CUET-UG 2022: NTA Declares Exam Dates, Schedule

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday declared the exam dates for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022). The CUET 2022 will be held in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between July 15 and August 10. The detailed schedule is available on the offical website of NTA for CUET-UG exams.

The exams will be conducted in over 13 languages – Hindi, English, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Odiya, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, Punjabi and Urdu. Apart from this, the candidates had over 19 more language options to choose from. These languages include Bodo, Santhali, Russian, Japanese, German and French among others. The application forms were available to the candidates for the window of nearly two months. It was made available on the NTA’s official website for CUET exams from April 2 to May 31.

This is the first edition of CUET for the UG examination wherein around 44 central, 12 state, 11 deemed and 9 private universities applied for the academic year of 2022-23. This year will see over 11 lakh candidates appearing for the CUET examination.

With no age limit, the eligiblity criteria include a requirement of clearing Class 12 or equivalent examination. However, the candidates will have to fulfill their desired university’s age criteria (if any) to get admission to that particular university.

The e-admit cards will be soon available provisionally on the official website and in case of any query, the NTA has issued two Helpline numbers to assist the candidates in solving their issues. The Helpline numbers will be functioning from 10 AM to 5 PM.
