Disheartened By The Government School System In The Country: Kejriwal

| Updated: April 11, 2022 15:32

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, visited the government schools of Bhavnagar district in Gujarat on Monday. After this, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, has also tweeted regarding the crumbling education system of Gujarat.

AAP leaders, including Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal, raged against Jitu Vaghani’s statement on Delhi’s Education. They gave several replies on Twitter and media countering Vaghani’s opinion. To prove his point, Manish Sisodia even visited the schools of Gujarat. He also condemned the poor maintenance of government educational institutions under Gujarat Education Minister Jitu Vaghani.

Manish Sisodia has also shared the pictures of a government school in Bhavnagar on his Twitter account. “Take a glimpse of how the Bharatiya Janata Party, which has been running the government in Gujarat for 27 years, has given government schools to the people of Gujarat,” he said in his tweet.

The pictures attached to his tweet showed the inadequate and poor conditions of the government schools in Bhavnagar, Gujarat Education Minister Jitu Vaghani’s constituency.

In conversation with the media, Manish Sisodia also said, “The walls of the government schools are demolished. They could not even give the children a floor to sit on. If there are 5-6 months left in the election, they should take care. Else the people of Gujarat will bring a government that can give good education to their children.”

Following this visit, Arvind Kejriwal tweeted at 1:50 PM on Monday, saying that the condition of government schools in the nation makes him upset. “It’s been 75 years since we got independence. We could not afford a good education. Why? How will India progress if every child does not get the best education?” he added in his tweet.
